Product Description Three quiet, silky-smooth magnetic resistance settings in a reliable, affordable package.
Product Description By providing a realistic feel, the Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bicycle Trainer will help you get (or stay) in peak cycling shape when you can't actually be out on your bicycle. The Mag features three quiet and smooth magnetic resistance settings for a custom feel that reproduces the feel of an open-road ride. Constructed of a highly-durable CrMo steel frame, Blackburn's Trakstand Mag includes 700c and 26-inch wheel sizes, and a five-year limited warranty. About Blackburn In 1975, Jim Blackburn set out to design stronger, lighter, more innovative and more reliable cycling products. The first were bags and racks designed for touring. From there, Blackburn grew. Over the next 30 years, Blackburn's spark of innovation would lead to many revolutionary products, like the first high quality aircraft aluminum rack, the first dual stroke minipump, the first oversized mountain minipump and the first dual stage/dual stroke floorpump just to name a few. For 2005, Blackburn's creative spark is burning brighter than ever. And as we head into our 30th year, Blackburn is re-dedicated to designing smart, reliable, no nonsense accessories that are essential to your riding experience.

Rock Solid Competence at a Bargain Price December 17, 2008 Karl R. Beach (Minneapolis) It is possible to spend over $2000 on a computerized resistance trainer just as it's possible to spend upwards of $15,000 on road bike. If this shoe fits, wear it in good health. In this case, ignore the plain little Blackburn Trackstand because it likely won't suffice. On the other hand, if the performance/price ratio of a resistance trainer matters, the Blackburn Trackstand is the Gold Standard. This inexpensive appliance does what it's supposed to, does it well, and does it at a fantastic price point. $1000 aluminum road bike. Check. Inexpensive Blackburn Trackstand? Check. MP3 player and caffeine? Check. Water bottle? Check. Hammer it long...hammer it hard. Need less resistance? Downshift. Need more resistance? Upshift. It's elemental, and that's just the way I like it. Bravo, Blackburn!
Good as an Expensive Bike Stand April 6, 2008 B. Hrivnak (Greenville, SC) I should have read the reviews before purchasing. The Trakstand Mag has little resistance even at the tightest setting. I am returning it to the store today. Buyer Beware.Blackburn Trakstand Mag Indoor Bicycle Trainer
Blackburn Trakstand review January 14, 2008 Mark L. Eberle (Shakopee, MN USA) The Blackburn Trakstand is great! It is a good quality trainer and has been everything I had hoped for. You really need the Trakstand Block to go under the front tire for this set up so you can ride level as you would outside.
Blackburn Mag Trainer January 7, 2008 J. Clemence (Colorado) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item for my wife to use, so she could still bike during the winter months. It is very easy to set up and use, and while it is somewhat noisy, it is not any louder than one might expect it to be. She can ride it and hear the TV or radio with no problems. This is a great item that I would highly recommend.
It's good, but not great August 21, 2007 Jenn (Anchorage, AK United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This does what it's meant to do. It sets up easily, but it is noisy. I used it for the first time last night, and had to turn my tv volume up very high. Like I said, it works and does what it is supposed to do.
